The thickness is perfect and the end caps are good, but the rope is just to long for me. If it was 35 inches I could use it on the end caps. I never used gloves till I bought this thing. Hook it up to the bottom pulleys and pull up and at the top seperate your hands to the sides keeping muscles flex...

Id look elsewhere for this item.
I'd go else where for this product. I like bowflex products but this is an absolute miss on their part. The rope is waaay to long and makes work outs ineffective since you have to tie knots in it to get resistance.

Sturdy, beefy, but not overly so. The "handle" ends fit really nice in your hands. Has nice end stops your hand edges rest comfortably around. It does exactly what it was made for and it feels/fits good doing it, while solidly built.

I'm using the Bowflex for muscle building. It's very easy and quick to go from one exercise to another. The only thing that I would want different is to be able to have adjustable bench, but still an awesome machine.

- Verified Reply - AnonymousHi Doug! If the machine has a lat tower, which the PR1000 does, it can use the Triceps rope. You would attach it to the two cables at the top with the carabiner that comes with the triceps rope. Thank you.Was this answer helpful to you

Does this get hooked up to both pulleys on the extreme lat tower or just one ? Also is a 43" tricep rope to long for someone who is 5' 9" ?
