Bowflex IC Bike SE
Full disclosure: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review! Thanks Bowflex for the Bowflex IC SE bike! I am a huge Bowflex fan, as I use other Bowflex products for my home gym, including the Bowflex Xtreme 2 Home Gym system, adjustable Bowflex Kettlebell and Bowflex SelectTec...

Great Bike for the Money, but Room for Improvement
Overall, I think this is a really good price for a beginner spin bike and for the price. I have had a Schwinn IC4 (Same as Bowflex C6) for 5 years and literally wore it out. I bought this bike expecting it to be a new and improved version of that bike. The technology of this bike is superior, but th...

Great Hardware and Customer Service, Lackluster App

Overall I am extremely pleased with my experience with the IC Bike SE after a few months of ownership. It was very easy to set up and get going. Unfortunately the LH side pedal came loose during my first ride and I did not notice this until it ripped from the crank arm causing thread damage. Between my wife and I we have five bicycles I maintain so I'm confident this was not an installation issue and was more of a freak accident. Either way it was upsetting to have a brand new item that already had an issue. A quick call to Bowflex fixed all of this as they had a technician come to my house and fix the bike within a few days for free. They were extremely understanding and stood by their product. My favorite feature of the bike is the ease and range of adjustments to allow a comfortable riding position. I'm 6'1" and my wife is 5'2" and we can both be comfortable on this bike. Now that we know our settings it takes us about 30 secs to configure the bike to our two riding positions. The built in screen is nice and provides all the information you need during a ride. I had no problem pairing the bike to my Coros Vertix to have the data from the bike added directly to my workout log on the watch, and thus in the Coros app. My wife does similarly with her Apple watch. The tablet/phone holder also works well and we typically use a tablet to watch movies while riding. My only complaint is with the JRNY fitness app, which is in no way necessary to use the bike. That justifies my five star review of the bike and Bowflex customer service despite my disappointment with the app. I was given a three month free trial of the app at the time of my purchase, so I used that to evaluate the app. In my opinion it falls short of apps like iFit and I don't think it's worth your money.

Overall, I think this is a really good price for a beginner spin bike and for the price. I have had a Schwinn IC4 (Same as Bowflex C6) for 5 years and literally wore it out. I bought this bike expecting it to be a new and improved version of that bike. The technology of this bike is superior, but the craftmanship has a lot of room for improvement. My overall complaints are: 1. The adjustable shaft that holds the handlebars and screen is very wobbly at the appropriate setting for my height (5'11"). 2. The screen is crooked due to loose tolerances on the angles during manufacture. 3. The Q-Factor for this bike is different than my last bike, and it caused a lot of knee pain when first getting the bike adjusted. If I were to make the purchase again, I would probably buy another Schwinn IC4 or Bowflex C6 instead of this bike. Unfortunately, there aren't many spin bikes on the market that work well with Zwift that don't have the screen built into the bike.

Ive had this thing for about a month or so, so far. I use it as a low impact alternative to my 6 day a week running schedule. Was easy, painless to set up. Instructions were easy to follow. So far its working great for what I've got it for. Seems to be holding up, went to retighten the screws after 3 uses as is directed, and everything was still tight. Got on sale, would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable indoor biking option. #sweepstakes

The Bowflex bike met all my expectations. It was easy to assemble with video, and the monitor to store my sessions is great. I did need to buy a handlebar extension to sit more upright. I would highly reccomend buying this bike. It is sturdy and well built.
