Intense workout

I received this product for free in return for my honest review. I've been using the Bowflex for about two weeks now. I wanted to give myself enough time with it to give an honest review. Here are my thoughts… Setup: My husband put this together for me. It took him a little less than two hours. He s...

I don't think I would buy this product again

I purchased the Max trainer mostly to fight depression and brain fog. Unfortunately It needs to be fixed before I use it, distance, rpm and speed are not indicating, time and resistance are. That is a big disappointment. Before full assembly it should be recommended to check to make sure all conne...

Amazing product. Sturdy and built to last with the Bowflex name. Gives a great effective workout every time. Everything I imagined and then some. I'm a beginner at working out at the age of 60. This was a fabulous choice. Thank you Bowflex!

I was in the military for 23 years so I ran and worked out. I could run for miles and miles, 70 push ups was easy, for a while I was doing 400 setups a day, so I was in shape. Once I retired I still ran and worked out, as I hit my late 50s workouts got harder and runs were fast walks, yes like many of us I gained weight. By time I hit 60 I was no longer able to do dips and pull ups without extreme pain in my right shoulder so I dropped to just light weights and the treadmill. Well at 64 I decided to go with the elliptical that would work both my heart and muscles and Bowflex had a sale. I did have slight issues with cramps (twice) in my legs when I 1st started (I am not sure I have used the movements/muscles of the machine in a while) but I went slow and now after after a few weeks things are good. I am slowly getting faster and building time. It allows me to work my arms or not. I believe it will keep me in shape for years to come. And yes I am still over weight but the machine helps me break a sweat without me having to force the issue, where on the tread mill I really had to push to go faster which hurt my knees and back, this machine does not hurt me like the treadmill.

I love the look of the Machine and I wanted it to work but I find that even on the lowest resistance setting it is hard for me to use.

I was surprised how sturdy and well constructed the Max trainer SE was. We were looking for a stair climber and this one is more comfortable than many we tried at gyms. We are on it every day. #sweepstakes
